THE ROCKET EXPERIENCE

When the fire is burning under you, you wish the world can understand.
Even your closest soul mate cannot feel what you feel.
At times like this, I can assure you that you might have to go through it alone because even when people come around you,at the end of the day, you'ld still be left with YOU(your spirit, soul and body)
I want to let you that it's not the time to ask God where he is,because he's actually there!
Around 2003,while going through a particular challenge, the Lord told me..."In every trial you go through, know that there's the presence of God" and that was the re-fueling I needed, knowing that no matter how hot, how I feel, what i'm seeing and even what I think,God is still in it.
Our greatest times of test is not when we shout about the faith we have in God and when everything around us seems stable.

The greatest test of our faith is when we are in the fire! Face to face with the situation.
Some time again, the Lord said to me..."You have to be rechargeable not only outside Pharaoh but with Pharaoh "
Pharaoh here, represents that stubborn challenge and what he was simply saying is that it's not about the energy and faith we profess outside challenges but more importantly, the faith we walk in while facing the challenge.
I leave you with these words spoken by Juanita Bynum... When the Rocket gets ready to take off, what causes it to go into orbit is the fire that's underneath. If there's not enough fire underneath the Rocket,it can't go through another dimension.
We go through the fire because it's time to be shot out into another level of exploits. While in a Rocket, the people on ground, thinks you're on fire but you inside knows that you need the fire!
Also, you can't hear anybody else on ground and you can't even get down because it's already programmed.
So also your present circumstance. I tell you, its a set up to elevate you.
You might be feeling the heat friend but I tell you the truth, you're a rocket shot into orbit to fulfil destiny!
You might not be able to eat what you like now or wear what you like...
But I can assure you that when God is through with you this season, you'ld look back and thank him for the fire!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?

There’s so much work to be done now that if you neglect it or you’re rather ignorant of it, it will come back knocking, but this time, with greater responsibilities, stress, frustration and unhappiness. What am I talking about? It’s the fact that we are planting seeds into our eventual marital destinies, whether good or bad, ignorantly or consciously. What are the seeds we have sown in the past? Can you quickly take time out now and look back at the relationships you’ve engaged in, in the past and the one you are engaged in right now? What is your character? What is your mind set? What are the compromises you’ve made and what’s your intention for that lady or that guy? Please be truthful now and reflect…
If you think that your past does not matter including what you are doing presently, I want to tell you emphatically that you’re wrong! Ask those that have gone ahead of you and they’d tell you that they wished they never did what they did in the past. Your past and partners past can affect your relationship in the present regardless of how good your present intentions are. So, is it not wise to be careful about what you’re doing now? I read the story of a pastor whose marriage efforts were made to save, but the marriage failed. What was the problem? This guy, as a youth, was just sleeping around with ladies. He had quick sex in every unimaginable place. When he married, he didn’t know how to pet his wife and enjoy lovemaking. His approach was always quick and momentary to sex. This was what broke their marriage! He admitted with his mouth that his past had caught up with him, as he did not know how to enjoy a long sexual period. The Senior Pastors tried all they could to give a lifeline to their marriage but they couldn’t. The wife eventually left and that was the end of the marriage. Whatever we do today has a consequence and a repercussion. Please, don’t think that you can go on making all the mistakes and when you’re finally ready to settle down and get serious, everything would just straighten out. Remember, life is about sowing and reaping. You can never eat your cake and still have it! Always have it at the back of your mind that Love is greater than sex. Sex is simply pleasure and not love. Repeated sin deadens the conscience such that you’re on a highway to destruction and you don’t even know it. Be careful about how you treat people and their emotions. Before you act, always remember that living a happy and fulfilled life especially when it comes to relationships is not by luck. Consciously determine to do right and act right if you truly love yourself and your future.

Yours in Love,

OFF TO FELLOWSHIP… for fellowship or for appointment?

The church which consists of me and you was established by the Lord Jesus Christ himself when he said in his word that we should not forsake the assembly of one another. Over the ages, multitudes that gave their lives to Christ are advised to be established in a church to ensure their continuous feeding on the word for the growth and stability of their Christian faith.
Many people today as Christians still feel that they don’t have to go to church every Sunday and that once they are leading godly lives, then they can stay back in their homes. However, this is a wrong mindset because if we understand the way the kingdom works, one has to understand the fact that you can’t survive as an island but you need to consistently be renewed and serviced. There’s power in coming together under the same umbrella.

Now, what is obtainable with those that have gone ahead to make it a point of duty to be in church every Sunday and every weekly service? In as much as we have those that genuinely go to church to hear the word of God and seek his face, we have people that are not going to church mainly for other reasons. I’ve been guilty of this myself but I’ve been quick enough to caution myself and consistently check my heart to see if my motive is right. Though there’s nothing bad in going to church for some other reasons, these other reasons shouldn’t be our main priority and motive for going to church.

Let’s take a look at this… You’re at home on a Sunday morning feeling quite tired and probably lazy to go to church. You have so many excuses. Probably your dress is not ironed, you slept late the other night and you need to eat what you’ve not cooked. Suddenly, you remembered that you’re to meet with Shade after service who is to bring a particular material for you to buy which you must give your tailor unfailingly that week. Without consultation, an un-usual energy surges up within you and the next moment, you’re in front of the church. The question is HAVE YOU GONE TO CHURCH FOR FELLOWSHIP OR FOR THE MATERIAL?

Sometimes we remember we need to get particular information from someone, check out that guy or lady you’ve been eyeing for so long. (Remember I said there’s nothing bad in other reasons but that those reasons should not be our priority). You know why it’s important to address this issue? The truth is that some of us miss out on our blessings even before going to church at all because our motives are not right. So, what’s the wake up call? Let’s consciously and consistently watch our motives before going to church and let God know our expectations before stepping out in the morning. However, we shouldn’t be cajoled to go to church. We are the church and we need each other, meeting together under one umbrella, praying together, praising together, discussing together, there’s nothing like it! Above all, finding renewed strength to run the race for the coming week and the coming years. BS

FREE VISA FOR YOU!!

FREE VISA FOR YOU!

Many might jump at this while some won’t give a hoot but whatever the case may be, I know this piece is coming in handy.

Travelling abroad has become the greatest dream of some Nigerian youths. People dream it, pray about it, brag about it, kill for it, steal for it and die for it. The recent I heard is of Mr Emeka who found his way to the tyre compartment of a plane all in a bid to travel to Atlanta. He was however found dead with his blood and mangled body when the plane arrived at Atlanta. What a sad end for a promising young man who left his wife, children and family behind for a desperate search for greener pastures. Reports have it that they pay as much as 800,000 for the processes. Couldn’t this same money be multiplied by a man who has a vision? What Mr Emeka never knew is that it’s more of a vision than the location!

Mr Emeka’s case is just one out of thousands of sad tales that Nigerians have been exposed to all in a bid to be in the white man’s land where the streets are “paved with gold” Who is ready to tell others not to make travelling abroad a priority if not Mrs Shade who got married to her husband at the age of 30 and after two kids, the husband decides to leave for abroad to search for “greener pastures” Today Mrs Shade is about 50yrs old and is still expecting her husband to come back home.

Is it Felicia who lost her boyfriend to the abroad thing after many years of a purposeful relationship with a vow never to forsake one another? While Felicia waited for her boyfriend faithfully, the next thing she heard was that he was getting married to someone else over there and hope’s she’d understand. Understand what?

Is it about the ones who don’t see their Parents for over a decade only to be told that they are dead and they cannot even afford to come home for the funeral because they might not be able to go back there? I tell you, the true value and beauty of travelling abroad is if you can go and come back at YOUR WILL!

Is it the ones that have missed memorable times to be spent with their families like weddings, naming ceremonies, graduations, e.t.c ?

So many youths have spent thousands of naira in securing Visa, while some were duped, others found out after getting there that they have to work through their nose to pay back the debts that they have incurred. Some have further placed an embargo on their career and education because they know that one day, they’d be flying over the seas.

With the alarming rate of people both young and old who want to make it out of the country at all cost, one would want to wonder if there was a switch over there that at the touch of it, money vomits itself. No doubt, their standard of living is quite good and they have good facilities and infrastructures that make life comfortable but really, its still about WORK WORK WORK and WORK. Infact, you can’t afford some kind of laxity you exhibit in Nigeria over there.

Nigeria as a country is the worst hit because of the constant brain drain and it’s effect on the economy on all sides but should we all continue to leave and watch Nigeria rut away from afar? I’ve been in church at different times where people share their visa testimonies. I’m left to wonder, is it really a testimony? I believe a change of location just happened to you and not a guarantee for the fulfillment of destiny. A failure in Nigeria can be a failure anywhere. Now, don’t be quick to say na because you no get moni… Many of us have the money and the connection but still refuse to go just anywhere because we understand the place of vision and the place of location.

To me, big boys are not those Abroad but those that can go and come back at will, not those that used all their life savings to go and even after 20 years, you can’t come back because if you do, you might never be able to come back home.

Ask your folks that are there and those that have gone and come back. There are many over there living purposeless and wasteful lives that can not come back for fear of shame and rejection. I remember a friend of mine who saved up all he had and few days he was to travel, God told him not to go. Really, if you were the one would you obey or rather tell God to wait and allow you to come back?

Here’s my point, there’s a vision larger than life in the heart of every man which comes first before location. If you’re in the worst place, you’d thrive if your vision is there. Bishop Oyedepo once said that no matter how honey flows in a particular place, if you’re not sent there, it would never flow to you. Please don’t be deceived by the glamour, the fun and the cars. After all said and done, it is vision and fulfillment that matters. There are some people that their world will never hear them because they are far away in Florida where God never sent them and there are some who have stayed to faithfully nurture their dreams and Florida and other Nations of the world yearn to have them in their county to teach them how it works. Ask the likes of Bishop David Oyedepo, Fela Durotoye, Tosin Akerele, Deolu Akinyemi and Bukola Scott(I’m not lolling O!)

It takes us to sit down and nurture faithfully and diligently what we’ve got because God is true and cannot lie… Seest thou a man diligent in his work, he shall stand before kings and not mere men. A man’s gift makes room for him…

If you’re there and perhaps you feel a desire to soar but because you’re a second class citizen you can’t, then why not come where your wings can be spread wide enough to fly? Here’s a call to those out there… Finish your courses and come back home, Nigeria needs you and the destinies that are tied to yours are crying for your hand. I hear someone say, what do you have for them? Well; like Fela Durotoye said at Ignite 2010,…”For the sake of the Land”

In wrapping this all up, after getting a clear direction of the problems you’re born to solve and you’ve found out in clear terms that your place is in Nigeria, would you still rather leave? THE FREE VISA IS STILL AVAILABLE!!!
